We present the custom power supply module JETDiR-MIL-SUB-300.

For demanding applications that require reliability and resiliency, a new 300W power module is available, custom designed to meet military specifications MIL-DTL-24308, MIL-STD-461 CE101 and CE102.

This module has three independent electrical channels, which ensures uninterrupted operation even if one of the channels fails.

It also meets stringent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and vibration and shock requirements, making it ideal for use in harsh environments.

The power module has a compact and lightweight housing, making it easy to install in confined spaces.

It also features a highly efficient circuitry that provides low heat generation and high efficiency up to 89%.

Currently, it is very relevant to solve power supply problems in active phased array radars, over-the-horizon radars, supercomputers and electronic warfare equipment. Due to the fact that on large structural areas of the equipment, power supply modules form a fairly clear structure with clearly defined rows and columns, that is, they have a matrix form, we decided to call such systems “Matrix power supply systems” (MPSS).

In critical situations and under challenging conditions, specialized devices, particularly tethered drones, may face external forces that could compromise their structural integrity and connections. In such circumstances, it is crucial for the device operator to swiftly resolve these issues on-site. Considering the potential for human error during the process of restoring the device’s functionality, even the simplest mistakes, such as mixing up the contacts, can occur.

As conscientious developers who prioritize the ongoing performance of our products, we have taken steps to support our end users. What does this mean? We have enhanced our JETDiV series modules by implementing polarity reversal protection. Whether you accidentally connect the positive and negative terminals in the wrong way (though we hope you avoid such errors), our module will operate correctly, ensuring reliability in extreme conditions and contributing to the success of critical missions.

This new feature has successfully completed all tests and trials, and we are now actively accepting orders!

It’s no secret that our specialty is custom individual development. Despite the success and demand for our standard serial products, more and more often we get our hands on projects that require a non-trivial approach. For each such project, we craft distinct solutions, putting all our accumulated experience into them, combining it with state-of-the-art power supply technology.

Just look at how our new designs are replacing old ones and saving space through miniaturization!

We’re delighted to share some exciting news with you! Our DC/DC modules have successfully expanded their lower limit of the operating temperature range, now reaching an impressive -70 degrees Celsius. This significant enhancement applies to the JETDi, JETDiR, and JETDiV series.

But what does this mean for you? As you may be aware, our modules are utilized in devices and systems that operate in a variety of critical environments, including both manned and unmanned vehicles that carry out missions at altitudes of up to 40 kilometers. On average, for every 100 meters of altitude gain, the air temperature decreases by 0.6 degrees Celsius, or 6 degrees per kilometer, a phenomenon referred to as the vertical temperature gradient.

In essence, our modules are now capable of functioning at altitudes up to the Karman Line, which extends to approximately 100 kilometers. So, if you happen to have applications such as fighter jets, drones, weather probes, or any other devices conducting missions at altitudes nearing the edge of space, we strongly recommend using our power modules for the utmost reliability in your systems!
